The four systems
| System | What it does | Beginner priority |
|---|---|---|
| Settlement | Headquarters level gates everything else. Buildings produce resources and train troops. | Push HQ, keep builders busy |
| Heroes | Lead your marches and Explorer Trail fights. Rarity and skills decide strength. | Focus a few, not all |
| Troops | Infantry, riders and hunters with a rock-paper-scissors relationship. | Train the highest tier you can |
| Alliance | Help timers, shared research, alliance store and protection from attacks. | Join an active one on day one |
Where to start
Three guides cover a new account from the first hour to the first month. Read them in order.
Daily routine
- Collect resources and claim daily rewards.
- Start the longest build and research you can before you log off.
- Clear Explorer Trail stages and the daily Intel missions.
- Help alliance members and donate to alliance tech.
- Kill infected on the map for hero experience and resources.
Events and spending
Events rotate weekly and reward exactly the things you do anyway: building, research, training and killing infected. Time your big upgrades to land during the matching event. If you spend money, the growth fund and the monthly card give far more than random packs.
FAQ
