Two kinds of codes
- Game codes. Made by the developer of one experience. They give that game's currency, boosts, pets or skins. This is almost every code you will see.
- Roblox promo codes. Platform-wide codes from Roblox for avatar items. They are rare now and tied to official events.
Where developers post codes
| Place | What to expect |
|---|---|
| The game page description | Often lists the current codes and the developer's social links |
| The developer's X (Twitter) account | New codes for updates and milestones |
| The game's Discord server | Codes in an announcements channel, sometimes Discord-only |
| The Roblox group | Group shouts with codes and member rewards |
| Update notes and events | Codes released with each major update |
How to redeem a game code
- Open the game and look for a Codes button, a Twitter bird icon, or a Codes tab in Settings or the shop.
- Type the code exactly. Most are case sensitive. Copying from the developer's post avoids typos.
- Press redeem and check your currency or inventory.
- Some games require joining the group or liking the game before codes work. The game tells you if so.
Why a code does not work
- It expired. Most game codes last days to a few weeks.
- Typo or wrong case.
- You already redeemed it.
- You are in the wrong game or an older server. Rejoin to get the newest version.
- The code requires a group membership or a game like.
Free Robux is always a scamNo website, code or generator gives free Robux. Those pages steal accounts. Robux comes only from the official Roblox site and apps.
Games with regular code drops
Simulators, tycoons and anime fighting games release codes most often, usually with each update. Check the game description first, then the developer's X account and Discord. Our Steal a Brainrot page covers one of the biggest games of the year.
